Special Care for Cats

When you come in for an appointment with your cat we understand how stressful it can be for you & them! They hate the carrier, the car, & the dogs. Thats why we are making special changes for our feline friends and we will help you make future visits to the clinic easier & more enjoyable.

Upon arrival to our practice you & your pet will immediately be placed in our special "cat specific" room, away from barking dogs & stressful extraneous noises & stimulation.

We see to the special needs of your cat here - an in-room weighing scale, "pheromone friendly" environment using Feliway room diffuser for a calmer atmosphere, bubbling water fountain to soothe & soft table top blankets for your cats comfort. No posters of dogs on the walls of this room!

When this room is already occupied we will see to the needs of your cat in whatever way possible to make him or her more comfortable & less frightened.

Can't bring your kitty in to the clinc? No Problem! We offer home care for our friends that cannot make the trip.

Cats can learn & be trained to do just about anything you can train a dog to do - and cats do it with more finesse! Start early as a kitten if possible but even older cats will readily learn "new tricks" with the proper positive reinforcement.
